Because I'm so late in posting about this trip, it now has a greater meaning due to my Granddaddy passing away just shy of four weeks later. I'm so very thankful that we decided to go on this trip! We hadn't been able to get a four generation picture yet so that was what I wanted most! We didn't realize how quickly things would turn around for Granddaddy because he was doing wonderfully during this trip! I'm so grateful for these precious last memories I had with him!
The BEST part of the trip!! FINALLY getting the Four Generations picture!!
(more later)
This trip was also Reggie's first time on an airplane. We flew in on a Saturday and flew back home on Monday. It was a fun little getaway! We visited the International Rose Test Garden, quickly saw the Holocaust Memorial, swam at the hotel, and ate breakfast at a tiny cafe. We also went to Walmart one too many times to get Reggie food because we thought she'd be able to advance up a stage in foods. It was wonderful to spend time with my parents and sisters too! Overall, it was a great but too short trip! I can't explain how happy I am that we were able to go and that Rocky was also able to come! He made the trip even more enjoyable and helped me a lot with the baby! He's the greatest!
