A New Year is Already Here!

Wow! 2010 really flew by! I suppose it's true; that as you get older, the time goes faster! We sure experienced a lot during the last year! I'll just list things that happened throughout the year.

1st: Since Nov. we'd been in Cedar for Rocky's job. It ended up in a layoff by April.
2nd: Moved to S. Jordan for a summer job.

3rd: Moved to W.V.C. for a job that Rocky interviewed for in February, tested for in April, and didn't hear anything again until July offering him a job.

4th: I went on a cruise with my parents, grandparents, aunt, cousin and her husband to Alaska! It was pretty great!

5th: We both got called as primary workers, teaching the CTR 5 class! I've really enjoyed it!

6th: We spent Thanksgiving soaking it up at Fairmont Hot Springs with my family!

7th: We spent Christmas with Rocky's family and were able to see my family too for some announcements!

8th: Rocky has an awesome friend who referred him for a job more along the lines of his schooling and he got it! :) Thank you SO much Cade!!!! (even though he'll probly never see this haha). He got the job right before his probation period ended at his last job. He would've had to sign a contract in February and would've had to stay at his last job for I don't know how long but he would've hated life!

There's been A LOT of moving the past couple years but they've been stepping stones and we've met a lot of great friends along the way. Even though we're about to move again and I'm NOT excited about that, I'm very excited for Rocky to finally be able put his knowledge to use and for him to enjoy work and life. He always enjoyed what he was learning in school so it's nice for him to come home and not hate life. :) We've been extremely blessed that we've always been able to have shelter, food and clothing throughout our travels. Our families have helped us a lot and we're very thankful for that!

Christmas came really fast this year! It really didn't feel like Christmas because for one thing, there was hardly any snow. It was just weird and we were doing our Christmas shopping up until two days before Christmas. For each other, Rocky got a Zune that he'd been wanting for months and a nice watch. I got a video camera, a camera case for our digital camera and a video camera bag that's big enough to hold all our cameras and their accessories which I think is GREAT! When we get a nicer camera, it'll fit in the bag too! :) We got some really nice gifts from our families too! Thank you!

For New Year's, we were able to go down to Cedar to hang out with some good friends we made while living there! We played cards for hours and loved it! We used to play cards with them all the time and it was so much fun to see them and play! :) Thank you Lyon family for letting us visit and being such good friends to us!

2010 was a great year and 2011 is going to be better! :) Our family will grow, learn and we'll have new experiences! We're very thankful for all our blessings, families, and friends and wish you all a very happy new year and to enjoy it!
