The Best Waterslide Park in the World!

I LOVE this place! :) It was so much fun to spend a day with Rocky, my dad, and sisters at a place we used to go all the time whenever we came up to see my grandparents. This was Rocky's first time there and he thought it was great considering he loves water!

The Town of Shops, Bars, & a Playhouse

This place was amazing! I haven't been there in a long time so everything looked new to me! it's a beautiful city with lots of tourist places and a playhouse. We went to Seussical: The Musical. It wasn't what we expected, but we still had a good time.

The Best Carousel in the World

This might seem a little childish but riding on this thing is tons of fun! It was fun to take Rocky to places where my family and I used to go when I was younger. Even though he'd had enough after one ride, I think he still had fun!

I know his eyes are closed but it was the only one I had.


Scrapbooking Retreat

It was great being able to spend time with my mom and sister while we tried to put our memories on paper in creative ways. Hopefully we'll have time to do it again! Below are pictures of us with some of our creations.

So we've been pretty busy this summer. We've had loads of fun doing lots of different activities. All of these will have their own posts since there is so much! I probably won't get it all done today but here's a start!

Utah Day Trip
We had a lot of fun hanging out with Court, Krin, & Elsie down in the big city. We went to a water park but we thought it was just a pool so we forgot our suits (bummer). Later we went to an exhibition baseball game including a homerun derby which was pretty exciting.

It was fun to play with Elsie; Grandma Cathie was especially having a great time with her!

4th of July Weekend

This is way late and I don't have any pictures unfortunately! I really need to work on using that camera of ours. Anyways, we had a lot of fun hanging out with our families and participating/watching all the activities.

On the 3rd, all of Rocky's family was able to be here. When Court, Krin, & Elsie got here, we were able to go swimming at the pool for a little bit. There I found out about my high school Alumni game scheduled for that night so after swimming and a snack, I went down to play in the game. Highlight of the game: I hit a homerun over the fence!!! That is still one of the best feelings ever! Court also took a shot at the homerun derby and hit 2 out! It was crazy because the fence he hit it over was extremely far back there!!! When we got back to the house, Court grilled steaks and we lit off bottle-rockets! The steaks were great and lighting off the bottle-rockets was tons of fun!

Now for what we did on the 4th: we started out watching the parade in M-town. It seemed extremely long. Rocky rode along with one of his buddies in the parade on a golf cart for 3/4 of the parade. He had fun with that. Elsie was super cute! She started out wearing her sunglasses upside-down because that was more comfortable to her. She got loads of candy too!

After the parade, we lounged around for a bit then headed down to the Welling Reunion/4th of July Celebration. It was awesome to see everyone and to chit-chat about upcoming events! The bbq lunch was also very tasty!

After eating, it was time for us to head out to SnoTown for the parade and dinner out there! Unfortunately we didn't have time to play volleyball. Hopefully next year. Anyways, the parade was small but great as usual! Varcy & Mom were in the parade riding the 4-wheeler! They had their little puppy Buddy riding with them too! They were so cute!

After the parade, we hung out at the house for a little bit then came back down for dinner and chatted with some old friends. It was a lot of fun and dinner was really good too!
When it was almost dark, we headed back over to M-town to watch the fireworks with Beef (Brady) and his wife Kara. The fireworks were good but I think I had more fun lighting off bottle-rockets the night before! :)

Overall, it was a great weekend and we had a lot of fun hanging out with everybody!

Sorry that this is late! I meant to do this yesterday but I got super sick and have been sleeping basically since 3:30 yesterday! Yikes! Anyways, I wanted to do this real quick and wish all the Dads a Happy Father's Day! I hope you all had a great day!

Thanks to both our Dads for all that they do for us! (Sorry I don't have any pictures of Rocky and his dad, he probably wouldn't want me posting them anyway. There's always next year! Hehe!)

In Need of a Smile...

So not a whole lot has been going on... We're still in limbo land in the case of jobs and what we're going to do. I'm excited to learn how to crochet soon and make baby blankets and other fun stuff to keep me busy along with catching up with my reading projects. :) We're both trying to figure out what to do for work. I still get an occasional shift at my retail job but who knows where the next few weeks are going to take us.

I wanted everyone to know that we're going to be getting a new blog address... one that's a little less insightful to our identities to keep from going private. It won't be for a little bit but just wanted to give a notice.
