Sorry to all for not keeping up on this the last little while. It's been pretty crazy and rough. I'd thought I'd give just a few updates that will probably have their own posts when I get pictures.
So first off and most important, both Rocky and I graduated on May 9. Rocky got an Associate degree in Applied Science for Instrumentation and Controls (Electronics of Energy) and my degree was a Bachelor of Science in Health Education. We are both way excited to be done with school. It worked out really nice for us to be able to graduate at the same time! Now we're just waiting to hear back from job places for Rocky.
Another massive achievement, well in my opinion :), I finally finished up my eligibility to play college softball! I didn't think I'd make it, especially this last year but with a LOT of help from Rocky, our families, friends, and Heavenly Father, I was able to make it through. This experience hopefully has prepared me for the trials that will come because after making it through that controversial subject, I should be able to take on anything, with help of course! :)
Just a few quick highlights from Senior softball day:
Just a few quick highlights from Senior softball day:
- I was able to play both defense and offense for both games that day.
- I got to play right field and first base.
- I hit a 3-run homerun to tie the last game, 6-6.
- Most of my family was able to be there including my grandparents, aunt and best friends.
- We won both games against the team I'd played for my first year of college, UVU.
- My Dad got my homerun ball!
- I finished!!!!
Thanks to everyone that supported me (us) throughout school and softball. Rocky worked really hard in school and finished at the top of his class. Softball was really hard on both of us and we're happy to move on to another chapter in life.
